Personally, I'd try to do it all in one shot.

    No, why?

You could always just pause the build once you're at the top layer of the coupling, drop in the hex nut, and then finish the print. Or if the nut hole is set up to be way at the bottom, just drop it in at the end.

Use tree supports and a brim on that, though.

The auto levelling makes life so much easier. If you don't like the firmware you can also switch it over to marlin.

Very cool. I started printing a Saturn 5 rocket at about 36" total but I moved my printer from one location to another and the prints are not coming out right.

One side it nice and smooth and the other is real jagged. I adjusted the belt tension, re-leveled and it did not fix it.

I will apply some graphite on the X and Y axis bars next to see if that fixes it. I did notice it was real jerky earlier tonight and stopped the print.

Last week I started printing at 200% (24") and it was working fine.

After I moved it and decided 300% (36") would be better.

You can see it is all over the place. I was busy so I didn't take a lot of time to figure it out yet. It worked great before I moved it.

Just bought a Prusa i3 MK3S and designed my own tacoma and printed some prototypes. It isn't done yet I have 4runner TRD wheels on the little taco and it kept breaking when I would slice so I made them big but I do not like how big tires look. Any recommendations are welcome or changes. I am working on a 3rd gen front end and side truck right now.

I haven't had my printer running much lately but it's been fired back up for a kid's psychology assignment printing a human brain to label the parts. It's about 1/4 done after 14 hours. Then we can start the other half. Wednesday deadline is going to be close. I might need to kick the speed up or drop the resolution on the other half.
