Does anyone know if it's possible to drive to the summit of Black Mesa out in the panhandle? We're going to take a trip out west next week and I've read that there is a Jeep trail that goes to the summit, but not sure if they are letting anyone drive it any more or not. Any one know for sure?

-100 years later- did you take this trip? I’d love to take this trip to experience the near-black night sky around Black Mesa. If there are fun wheeling trails then it would be even a better reason to go.
    Thanks!
