Anyone running sumosprings on the rear? I don't tow a heck of a lot, occasionally haul a decent amount of stuff in the bed but not on daily basis. Considering getting these to help distribute the weight when I do load up the bed, however I don't want a super rough ride considering that most the time the bed is empty. Looking for any feedback anyone has had.

I ran sumosprings before I added more leaf springs to increase my rear height. If you are stock they will add about 5/8" to 3/4" lift to the back end staying in contact with the frame and make it ride little stiffer...more weight better the ride. They weren't bad but you will get a stiffer ride.

I run them, good cheap fix to the extra weight of a canopy.

I got the blue ones for my TRD OR. Installed them last Saturday. Easy install and no issues.

Not my pic but I have this installed on my taco. I have about a 1.5-2” lift in the rear. I have the bilstein 5160s along with a deaver aal. This came with the 6112/5160 lift kit that I installed. I have the OEM bump stop of course and bought a sumospring to replace it.

I have the 612-40s, so the blue ones. Would you guys recommend removing this piece? Or leave it with the sumospring installed.

Im waiting on the front sumo springs to come in. Looking forward to installing that as well. B22E2798-196B-496C-8E4C-1D913899EF42.jpg

I found that the blue ones (SSR-612-40) are 1400lb capacity at $225.00 but the black ones (SSR-612-47) are 1800lb capacity listed at $219.00. Any thoughts on why?

Curious if you know the answer or if someone else does...why something rated for a higher weight capacity costs less than the lower weight capacity.

    Thanks!

Pro grille, Black SEMA wheels, air dam delete. Rear Blue Sumo springs. Front Timbren Active off road bump stops. Bilstein 5100s front and rear.
Possibly due to comfort. The black ones are probably more for a fleet vehicle or business that sees alot of weight in the back perhaps. Just a shot in the dark. Blues are nice as I have them on mine front and back and the ride is alot better and not harsh especially up front.
