Feeler/FS: 2000 Tacoma 2.7L Prerunner

I am a bit of a crossroads currently, as my faithful Taco was in a front end collision recently and I am leaning towards purchasing a replacement. Aside from that difficult decision, I also need to decide whether to fix the truck and resell it, or to wait for the insurance company to total it out. Here Id like to offer the truck to someone that would actually appreciate it rather than scrap it out. I have put together a preliminary parts list of what needs to be repaired, as well I have gotten estimates from body shops.

The estimates from body shops for everything are in the $5000-$6000 price range. The parts by themselves are in the $1200-1400 range, sourced from Rock Auto and eBay. This includes a radiator support panel that will need to be tack welded in place.

Suspension is stock, expect to also have to replace the front brakes. I have in a box new KYB Monomax shocks/struts, front ball joints, CA bushings, and UCA that I never got around to installing.

Stereo was upgraded with Memphis Audio 2 way speakers front and rear, and an Alpine amp. Entire interior was sound matted.

Newer Firestone Destination tires. The truck has about 370k miles. Just replaced the EGR system and one ignition coil. Oil changed every 5000 with Castrol GTX synthetic.

I would drive this truck twice a month between Phoenix and Los Angeles, going 100mph down the 10 without issue.

Tough spot to be in,, anyway I have the front half of a 2003 frame in good shape for that truck if you find a buyer or want to fix it yourself,,
