More Mods

Did some more mods today. First up was the door handles. Changed out the stock Limited black and chrome to Color Matched black ones. Only took me 2.5 hours for all four and that is including some breaks along the way.

So, I have the Black and Chrome door handles, note both front handles have smart lock connections, the Chrome Mirror Caps and the stock Turn Signal lights, is anyone is interested in any of these send me a message.

Door handles look way better, no doubt. But I think the Ah Sum plate is a bit much. I mean don't get me wrong, I love my Taco as well, but somewhere out there you have deprived a Bugatti or something along those lines from running that plate.

 

The plate actually came off my Corvette when I got rid of it... I still think the Tacoma is an Ah Sum truck...

 

Black handles look good! Side note: Am I the only one that isn't a fan of where toyota places their emblems on the trucks?

 

Were you ever on the Corvette Forum? For some strange reason, I feel like I've seen that plate before.

I just sold my C5 Z06 after owning it since 2003 when I bought it new. Hope to keep the Tacoma just as long!

 

I did the passengers side handle mod. If anyone is lookin to buy a black passengers side handle I can ship it.

 

How involved was adding the smart handle on the passenger?

 

@kmorgan3 made me a harness so it wasn't bad at all. The passengers door boot is nice because you can take it all the way off and wrastle with it. All in all probably an hour?

 

Might have to put this on the "to do" list.

 

It's been something I wanted to do for a while. With Kyle making me that harness it got my ass in motion

 

Yepper I was there. Been off it now for a good 5-6 years, or more .. Using the same handle here as on the Corvette Forum. I actually traded my corvette in on a Mazda CX5. The only reason I traded it my Ex trashed the car. She "Borrowed" it for 2 weeks and gave it back to me 15 months later trashed...
