Where can I find good instructions/video on replacing the oil pump in a 2003 2.4 Tacoma? Is there any special things to know such as lining up any markings etc. Thanks for the help.

Why do you need a new oil pump? I bet Timmy the tool man has a video!!

Don`t forget to prime the oil pump!

Since you need to remove the timing chain your going to need to line that all up again How many miles?? since it is apart install a new one??

You might need a tool to hold the crank shaft till you break the 193 or so foot pounds of torque also to retorque that bolt.

You need the correct puller to get the pulley off

Being careful not to scratch the crank or the oil pump bore removing the oil pump seal

This is perfect. Thanks for the help. Another question is what are the two "dimples" on both gears? Do they have anything to do with alignment or timing?
