The only advice is take your time. Some things will piss you off but do not get discouraged. One tedious task is screwing the sensor back into the back of the spindle. It might be easier to just install the sensor before installing the spindle onto the truck.

 

Ive got a question is the bolt that goes from the uniball of the UCA into the spindle, is the spindle tapped on the top and you screw the bolt right into it or is there like a pocket to put the nut in in the rear.

 

UCA bolt goes right through the top of the spindle, nut goes in through the bottom then it gets tightened down. If thats what your asking.

 

Ya. It is hard to get at though, at least on the Camburg spindles. The area for movement is very small so its a hand tightening thing.

 

that would suck to cross thread it then, I dont know what you would do if you did.

 

@ktm: it's not threaded. You just shove the bolt all the way in. You gotta be a loser to crossthread it. Lol

For the sensor, I ended up just siliconing mine it. Won't bugde and took seconds!

 

Ya the tires being stuck in almost act like a resonator in the fender well lol Good job with the install!

 

In this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/11282-tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read.html it says that the spindle lift is for 2wd only. Why is this the case?

 

Because for 4x4 you need the drive axel to go through the spindle and the lift spindles have a blocked out back

what do you guys use or recommend to release the tie rod from the spindle?

 

If you are good at it, turn the nut upside down screw on so that the top surface of the nut and the threaded part of the tie rod is flush and smack with a hammer - can also smack the little tab on the part that the tie rod end goes into. Otherwise go to Orielys and borrow a tie rod puller.

 

will spindles work with LR UCA?

 

Yes but are not necesaary

What are you doing out back if your going to be 7" up front.

 

I'm not going to be doing this for a while, but will be going with alcan 6'' leaf packs with 5125's
