Complete Car Care. West Texas Off-Road recommends them to any modified off-road vehicles. I had a set of Autozone brand lower control arms sitting around so I installed them on my 1999 project taco. Figured the bushings were fine with barely 10K miles on them. Turns out they were shot and other shops were blaming my brand new Toyota reman steering rack. Which shows a major lack of understanding about alignments in my opinion.

The only issue with Complete is they're busy and rarely pickup the phone. Other decent options are Caddo Wheel Alignment or Tom's Tire Pros. I would avoid Meineke, Firestone, Goodyear, Midas, and similar big names like that.

    Thank you.
Im once again rebuilding my front end. Last time I went to 8 different places before finding a good shop and by that time it had already damaged other parts and tires.

I try to avoid autozone parts, they just seem to cost more money later. on the other hand a Toyota power steering hose being $450 is ridiculous. whats a guy to do...

I appreciate the advice! Im still gathering parts. Im dreading the wheel bearings the most.

20 Ton shop press and this video and you'll be golden for wheel bearings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj-2IzO9RFk

I'm getting a press in my garage next week to replace some lower control arm bushings. I've been doing my wheel bearings at a buddy's machine shop in town but I'll probably do them myself now.

Given the last post was in '21 I think not. I do know there are a few members in the area though (I'm north in Abilene).
