I’ve tried to develop the taste for scotch. Some I can appreciate, but it’s hit or miss if I wake up with a headache. And that’s just with two fingers or so. Nothing egregious. Bourbon I can appreciate more. I do like a good spiced rum!

Found a bottle of Villa One anejo that I didn't know I had. One of the kids must have left it there. Looks like it has one drink out of it. There was another bottle of Fortaliza tequila that was definitely not tequila. Maybe moonshine, or maybe lighter fluid. Whatever it is I need to poor it out before I accidentally drink it.

My daughter recently brought me a bottle of Koloa Kaua'i cacao rum from Hawaii. I wish I had a case of that. Made some great fresh banana daiquiris.

RANDOMLY bought a bottle of Casamigos from Trader Joe's a few weeks ago and the wife and I keep it in our extra room/extra living room/office on a bookshelf. Sometimes we do random shots. Sometimes I do random shots (after work mainly @ 0800 I work the night shift) Sometimes she makes frozen margaritas

Mmmmm, tequila. I was going to order a glass of Clasa Azul at our favorite hole in the wall Mexican restaurant the other day. COVID took it from $17 up to $27. Time to pass and poor a few fingers at home.

I’ve started having a 6:30AM marg on the rocks after work while sitting on the patio and watching everyone else go to work. My dog waits not so patiently for the ice once I’m finished.
My new favorite tequila for margaritas is Teremana Reposado. I still use Herradura Silver though for those who aren’t into strong tequilas.
I have Casamigo reposada and anejo for sipping, or shots if preferred.

Morning margs are a great way to end the day.

Cool website. Now I have to have a bottle, if nothing else as a conversation piece.

All tequilas are mezcal, but not all mezcal are tequilas. If I recall correctly.

Sort of like bourbon and whiskey.

But agave is the important part.

Heads up at Costco. Buy 2- 1.75L Casadores and get $6 bucks off each. Ends up $30.00 a piece. This is my go to for Margs. YMMV

Sounds like a good deal. I prefer a Reposado in my margs as well. I usually make two batches with anejo and reposado for those who do and do not like tequila.

Enjoyed killing a few hours at the bar last month on vacation. I didn’t get a chance to try them all.

I’m about to have an empty bottle of that yummy 2nd from the left. It’s gotten up to about $25 a pour at the restaurants.

edit: I have the one on the left too.

Got my bonus paycheck: Casa Nobles silver. I thought Patron was good until I tried Casa Nobles, a few dollars less and has a different taste to it.
Tax return or hit a winning scratch it: Tres Generaciones Resposado, triple distilled oak barrel cured, goes down like water. Well, almost. :p[IMG]
