Me: 285/75r16 Wildpeaks on stock Pro wheels. Went with Pro because I wasn't sure about when/if suspension upgrade and I wanted all of the goodies. Maybe one day I'll do something more than the Fox suspension, when that day comes the resale value of the stock Pro suspension will probably still be there.

    '21 Stock Pro A/T (4WD DCSB only): $47k
    '21 Stock OR A/T 4WD DCSB: $37.5k
    - with the Pro-similar bells and whistles: $43.5k (but no skid, wheels, Fox)

Point is if you want all the tech stuff, leather seats, etc AND you're going to leave the Pro suspension alone (at least for a while), it's close to a wash as long as you can get a Pro at MSRP and not pay the dealer profit/market adjustment fee.

    I found this one helpful:

And a bunch of stock Pro owners posting on this thread too:

I was also able to fit 285/75/16 Wildpeaks but on a set of method 16x8 et0 on my Pro, just had to remove the front mudflaps.

I don’t understand everyone’s obsession for wanting to stuff the largest tires possible on their truck ……

When you get to the point of interference with the wheel well at any useful suspension articulation but do it anyway, stupid wins.

Just have to be patient and/or travel. 4 weeks of waiting and mine was MSRP vs. $5-7k extra to get it now (back in Jan/Feb 2021).

@panicmonster thanks for the feedback and the links.
For a bit of background given the comments and questions I currently have a 2017 TRD OR 4x4 with bilsteins, ray 10’s and running 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers. Have no chop, crimp or other mods and zero rubbing.

But wife wants leather in the next one and a few tech items. So that puts me in the camp of exactly the analysis that you did and by my calc’s a 2k delta. Which is fine if you aren’t changing the suspension and it will fit the same 285/70/16 or similar 16” height tires which are still slightly sub 33”.

Plus I’m not in a huge rush and despite the inventory issues have a great relationship with my dealer and will order either and don’t intend on paying a premium to sticker by any stretch.

So just trying to make the right decision and don’t want to by the pro then redo stuff
