Bed mats are so relatable, undramatic and unthreatening…simple to understand, no compressed spring mechanical mumbo-jumbo. People who tire of the complexity of the modern world are drawn to bed mats in the same way they’re drawn to a walk through the forest. The simplicity. The beauty. The chemical smell for the first few months.

As of last night when I checked the short bed was available. You have to search the vehicle and then type "bed matt" in the search bar. That's the only way I could get it to come up. It's funny cause they offer free shipping, but for the long bed is cheaper but you have to pay shipping which is $40 for me. I need to go ahead and pull the trigger on one. I've been using my old short bed matt in my long bed for the time being.

Sounds like we need to re-visit recent threads about securing our bed mats. They might become a hot commodity on the black market. Next thing you know fake dog poop will be sold out :D

I didn’t read all the posts about this, but if nobody mentioned Gary, (gunny1005) at Camelback Toyota in Phoenix, he’s parts manager there and gave me great service plus a good price with free shipping on my DCSB matt. Looks like his TW account might be inactive now though, so you might have to go straight through Camelback and see if he still there.

Damm... this thread is going to cause a run on aftermarket parts. Glad I ordered my suspension upgrade last week!
Edit: If all else fails... horse stall mats 6'X4' 3/4" thick for around $50... cut to fit.

Who needs fake dog poop? I find that smearing the real deal all over my bed mat is excellent, cheap theft prevention.

First one I did. Told the sales guy I wouldn’t buy the truck unless they tossed in a bed mat no charge.

C'mon, don't let the greedy subs push you around like that  haha JK dude

I've heard the same from all of my contractor buddies - resins, piping, paint, plastics, metal decking, bar joists, lumber. All that shit is booked out like 6+ months. Christmas will be interesting this year

Where on that screen shot does it say Toyota Motor Corporation has discontinued the mat?

These mats are made in the US in my recollection so I’m not sure how this has anything to do with ships parked off la. But yeah the disruptions are real because we’re busy trying to spend the 30% of all dollars in existence printed in 1 year of our 300+ year history.

Theoretically raw materials used to manufacture the bed mats could be imported. Or not.

I bought one about two weeks ago. I called my local dealer, they ordered and had it for me to pickup the next day.

Relatable on the mail order..80's bike parts, if the one bike shop 30 minutes away didn't have the stuff I wanted for my BMX bikes I would mail order them.

OP, check also the for sale threads here. They show up now and then..or maybe a Black Friday deal depending on your want factor.
