I was just curious, how do you secure your bad mat?

Every time I take it through the car wash the blowers bounce it all over the place. Does anyone zip tie it down or anything to keep it in place?

Pretty sure they are designed to do this so it gets dry underneath the mat.

I avoid the blower's. Well, if and when I use the carwash. I don't like the idea of all that high pressure air blowing on the third brake light and antenna on the roof.

I usually take my buddy Andre along. My bed-mat is held in place, he gets a full-service automated shower, and we go in halvesies for the cost of the carwash.

    Win-win-win.

I haven't taken my Taco through any automated car washes, so I can't speak form personal experience. I have the OEM Toyota bed mat, and that thing is quite heavy, and stiff. Unless a car wash is generating Cat 3+ tornado force winds, I would be extremely surprised to see it lift up the bed may I have.

Take it off when washing the truck, water will dry better underneath it.

I go through a car wash most every morning-past 2 years- it blows it a bit but nothing that is a problem.
