Got my 4WD SR Taco (bone stock) and want to go take the kids out and get some air.
Yall know of any good spots to go?

I googled some places but none of them really say if they are lighter or heavier off-road, I don't want to drive out to somewhere and end up not being able to go play a little.

Bridgeport has plenty for a stock truck and it's just north of DFW.j

Barnwell has a lot too, but is a longer drive and a bit more advanced.

Actually went to Bridgeport (Northwest OHV) today with the kiddos. We have some fun for a couple hours. There were a couple spots that I had to do some reversing out of lol, but was pretty decent place for a stock truck.
Wanted to get some mud on it but was not with anyone and wasn't risking it lol.

Probably smart not to risk it; some of those mud holes are deceptively deep.

Yeah, they looked a little sketchy. If I had another truck there with a winch I would have gone for it knowing I would get stuck lol.
I have done the "I know I am not making it out, hooking up the tow strap ahead of time" plenty of times lol

7 years later I am still finding mud in places. I just found more dried mud behind my fan pulley :annoyed:

That is one of the things I learned years ago... First stop is the car wash to at minimum spray the fan and motor.
