Tight right turn with a pine tree at the passenger door and the driver front corner. Went up on a root/rock with the driver side rear tire to manage the front tree then slid off of it to the right pushing the doors into the tree on the passenger side. That wedged me between the tree and rock/root ledge I had just slid off of, which is why it looks like I had to move forward and back a couple of times. I had to point myself away from the tree in front.

I deserved it and I'm really not sure if I'm going to do much about it. Probably see if the pinstriping and scratches will buff out, but that's about all.

Sliders wouldn't have helped, it was a broken branch about 2 inches in diameter and 18 inches long. What I need is the good judgement driving upgrade to my truck's driver.

    Every single time.

It took a few days...but they were productive. Not bad for a 3 day weekend.
New speakers (Kicker components and a 2.75" Mid-range and passive 3-way crossover)
Head unit (Kenwood, single DIN, no-frill Excelon unit with Bluetooth and external microphone)
    Sirius XP
Subwoofer, old JBL GTO 12" Powered sub. Used some quick connects for the power and ground, as well as the remote and controller lines.

    IMG-0867.jpg IMG-0866.jpg IMG-0918.jpg 617U2eFGWnL._AC_SL1200_.jpg IMG-0920.jpg

Then I did an engine and transmission oil change along with a TRD Quick Shifter
    65552428161--9D9241AD-CB1E-4783-94ED-5393AB71BA3F.jpg IMG-0928.jpg

Lastly, did the shocks, struts, replaced some broken wheel studs and added the blue Sumo Springs...adjusted the parking brake while I was in there.
Zip ties came in handy for the torn dust boot on the Drivers Side

We had an NX as well, it was stolen and with the insurance payout we bought what we should have bought in the first place....a GX460. You will pay the same for entry but will pay more in gas. The comfort and convenience will out way the difference. This was a used GX of course but a CPO. (4wd, V8, 3 rows, crazy solid vehicle!)

Sister wanted a 5th gen 4runner but the gx460 was cheaper and that’s what she bought. I borrowed it for a month to do a west coast trip. Love that suv. Wanted to buy one for my wife but it is a gas guzzler. 15 mpg average. So we going with a Honda Pilot instead. Can use the taco for off road experience.

but man the Lexus GX460 is a nice car. Loved driving it.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Uptop Overland has a rack that mounts just like this for their truss rack, I think a few others may also have something similar.

Tough to see in the pictures, but put on the black emblem overlays. I like the matte black set off against the glossy paint.

There are a lot of good reviews about the ride quality of the icon RXT leaf pack but honestly it’s truly mind blowing how good of a ride these created. I had the HD Dakar’s on before. Still need to trim the U-Bolts.

I also made a shorter and more compact air line for airing up as the ARB one just took up too much room. Only did this because I made the quick connect fitting in the rear as well so that I can mount the hose on front bumper or rear.
