Also, you can find videos of people installing them.
Here's an instruction vid. Not that you really need one, it's incredibly easy. But the main thing to note is that ypu do have to pull on the tail light rather hard....like uncomfortably hard. Haha.

Yup! All those videos that show people just popping their tail light out easy peasy.....they lie LOL. Scariest part of the whole thing!

Yeah man, it's like a freaking cave under there. These lights will help a ton.

What about 2019 and below? I see we don't have the pre-cut outs for the bed lights? So we would need to do the wiring? And cut out?

Another thing to remember is the torque spec on the two bolts on the taillights is a very low 3 ftlbs. Don't crank on them or you'll crack the plastic. OEM instructions attached.

For 2016-2019 models, there is an OEM bed light kit, but it's much more involved. You have to drill holes, run wiring into the cab, t-tap wires, etc. It's a sloppy design but you can still order it online. Here's a link to the instructions. If you have a bed cover, you could just get some of the LED lights Harbor Freight used to give away for free and just velcro some on each corner of the bed. Cheap and easy.

$50 for the OEM lights isn't bad, especially when you can tack on another item or 2 to get over $75 for free shipping.
