Clutch

I have a 2012 V6 6 speed manual Tacoma. Today the clutch stopped fully disengaging when fully depressing the clutch, I can’t get it into 1st gear without shutting it off and putting it into first and using the clutch Vance start. Anyone have any thoughts on the cause? I was thinking maybe the slave cylinder, because the clutch felt perfectly fine just yesterday.

 

I agree with you . Your issue sounds like a hydraulic control problem , not an actual clutch problem
Grab a slave and a master cylinder from the dealer , bench bleed and install the 2 components , then check for pedal free play
