But it is the only one that comes with the cooler and predator steps... mall points > functionality.

But it's missing the other TRD-level mall points like push-button start, mirror turn signals, LED strip in the headlights, crawl control*, power sliding window...

*Only time I've used crawl control was in the mall.

To you this is not a "Lifestyle Truck", you see the practical and technical information vs the marketing information. So think WTF

How many Tacoma owners realized their crawl control was broken on spring 2020 to summer 2021 Tacoma's because of a software error. Lol got stopped by a curb or an incline.

Average man-bun herbal tea swiller sees "TRAIL EDITION" can't wait to tell my friends how outdoorsy I am now, and "oh a place to keep my Tofu on ice when I take the kids from the city to the provincial park", those predator steps look tough and will help PROTECT the truck.

    I used crawl control once,

But that was only after too many Hooter Shooters and I fell off my stool.

There should be a $12,000 Tacoma. Something like a 2wd 2dr 5lug manual cab and chassis. Not a $12,000 option package on top of a SR5 automatic DCSB.

The crawl control was meh think I used it once or twice to see what it does.

But the multi terrain select is handy.

The cosmoline based stuff is supposed to dry to a film so I am hoping it will be less messy post application. @3JOH22A has experience with it and would know.

All good points, I started considering doing it myself because the shop that does corossionfree near me wanted me to drop my truck and keys off in the morning with no set time to have it done.

Valuing my time, I think it's a better idea just do it myself and learn more about the truck, plus I could probably do it better the student that did it last year.
I ordered the princess auto spray gun and a gallon of corossionfree:bananadance:

Worst case scenario - I hate it, and I'm out the price of a spray gun.

The CRC 06026 rattlecan stops flowing and gets tacky very quicky, like 15 minutes. However, this also means a tremendous amount of outgassing as the volatile solvents evaporate. Wear a respirator.

    USER ERROR?
icon told me to rightly fuck off and they weren't sending anything to Canada.
so in a spitefully "fuck you" to them, i decided to support our fellow Aussies.
    :brianr:
    I have embraced the squeak!

Creditstone still has to buy em from icon, or did i miss a page in economics 101?
    :annoyed:

maybe after my Fox 2.5s rust/ corrode into a single piece after the winter.

Maybe worth updating the sliders while i'm at it...

Creditstone buys 'em from a distributor, who probably did a credit default swap with an income trust controlled by a hedge fund, registered in a non-tax treaty jurisdiction :p
