Anything over 27" makes sense to curve. I actually find flat monitors weird now lol. Mine is the 32" version.

 

Is anyone going to get in on BF 2042?

 

I'm a HUGE BF3/BF4 fan. Have 100's hours between the two games. The 2042 beta was a total disappointment for me. I may end up getting it eventually but definitely not day 1.

 

There is a big sale on battlefield games on steam right now BF1, BF5, and BF4 for $11 or like $5 each. im thinking of picking BF4 and BF1 back up, I used to play them on console a lot

 

Monster of a deal. I think each comes with full DLC as well.

 

These days I typically wait for the GOTY editions to come out.

Agreed but I have EA Play so I can play it up to 10 hours before I have to buy it or not. Have a feeling its gonna take 6 months after launch for them to get it right.

 

Got the Oculus today, still working on getting it setup with steam vr and everything but i'm impressed, very happy I spent about $80 on it.

 

Any suggestions for a 1440p ips monitor around the $300 or so price point?

Looks like it’s either sold out or $500 right now. Hopefully a good holiday sale pops up. I’m looking forward to having a dual monitor setup finally.

The press NDA's were lifted today. The chips themselves dont release till Nov 4th. Just a bunch of preorder stuff.

Alder Lake looks promising. Itll be interesting to see all the different reviews and comparisons on it (ddr4 vs 5 for instance)

 

Managed to get BF 1942 and Desert Combat mod up and running. What a blast from the past!!!

It'll be interesting with alder lake. It's looking like so far ddr4 performs as well as ddr5. Course that's with first gen, first iteration ddr5.
