You aren’t kidding about the fridge. It practically lives in the truck. We have one of those pop up rooms now but I am digging the 270* awning setup AluCab offers. That will probably be next. After I find a hot water setup I like cus… to hell with showering in the winter.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Lol, I hear that. Ya gotta go full yeti like me. I am sitting here in shorts/no shirt, and I think it’s mid 30s here. Haha

you need a tankless propane water heater. Love mine

Just now seeing this! My notifications are not alerting me. I was working in their corporate offices in Duluth. I know the plant is hiring like crazy. If you're in the area, try looking at Wrigley (well Mars now) in Flowery Branch. They have much better benefits. Starting pay at $20/hr, 401k 100% match up to 6%, 15 days PTO, 5 sick days, 7-8 holiday days, Medical (vision, life, dental, health). All day 1.

FOX starts around $16-ish/hour and benefits after 90 days, maybe 60, I don't remember which since corporate jobs are different groups, 5 days PTO for factory workers (10 for corporate), 5 sick days, 401k 50% match up to 3%. FOX is a fun environment don't get me wrong, but the benefits are not as good.

They make the truck/auto suspensions in gainesville. Majority of it is Ford. I don't recall off the top of my head where the motorcycle suspensions are made. But, they do get a hefty discount - (50% all FOX suspensions, after 60/90 days of continuous employment) if they still do that. When I was there, they were easing back because of covid and parts availability. They had sweet deals on mountain bikes (pivot, Santa Cruz, Norco, few other brands) but that may not be there anymore because of covid parts availability. They froze that discount while I was there and I haven't heard if they opened it back up or not yet.

I'm looking for a new road bike (bianchi) and it's still several months out. A new pivot mtb is still over a year out.

Pretty sure the OHV shocks are manufactured there too. All the FOX shocks we get have the Gainesville address now instead of the old CA address.

Dude getting discounts on Fox suspension (truck and bike) and those above mention brands would straight put me in the poor house.

Our employee purchase program has been frozen. We can still submit requests to purchase, we’re just told ‘no inventory is available for employee purchases at this time.’ Damn covid.
