I scanned through but didn't see anyone who has insulated one of these? Has no one done it? I was thinking of using Reflectix. My dogs will be using it. Hoping to keep it a bit cooler.

Tell you what, once that cap gets hot or cold, it gets really hot or really cold. Especially in the sun... I've thought about insulating it, but haven't gotten around to it.

My dogs don't mind the cold. But they really mind the heat. In the middle of summer they'd be getting that sweet AC in the cab anyway but I'd like to extend the time I can be able to put them in the back.

Seems like it would be a fairly straight forward job. I'm surprised I haven't seen it done yet.

I had this saved in my cart for when I get mine. Thought was to use 3m/Velcro strips to secure in place. Roof seems to be the easiest to cut to shape, the side doors placing behind the molle panels. Even better would be to cut to size then line the face side with a fabric so it’s not so bright to look at

He is in San Diego. Working on getting some pictures and I’ll post it up along with the price make it legit. He’s working on it. He’s not really Internet savvy.

Hey all, I recently sold my 2016 and bought a new Tacoma. However, I kept my Rhino Rack load bars from old topper and want to install them on my new RSI Smartcap. Problem is, I can't find a video or any information on the install or if the Rhino Rack fit kit will even work. Any help or point in the right direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question, what are folks running in their molle panels in the adventure? I have been thinking to see if the rotopax might fit; what else are people attaching?

I have the Adventure. Rotopax, maybe empty. The limit I believe is 16 lbs per door. I got first aid kit and other pouches installed on the molle thing.

Hey man. I just put an order in for the SmartCap Evo. Curious what crossbars you have? Are these from RSI as well? Link?
    Thanks!

So far I got my molle panel door with just a mymedic kit. I will be adding more pouches to hold my kitchen utensil and other essentials.

Get the RSI load bars so you dont have to deal with the headache of finding and trimming the bars. Fits perfectly!

He have the RSI load bars. I got mine all my RSI stuff (Cap, Table, Load bars) from Off-road Alliance.

If you want to mount something heavier, just get side rails molle panel. I went with Rough Country Molle Panel

Does the mount behind bed rail effect anything? I have the Cali raised and the rail mounts are starting to get in the way of my adjustability.
