Thank you for the review! the setup you have is exactly what I envisioned when I started making these.

Let me know how they work with the KB voodoo rails! I don't think anyone has tried that setup just yet!

@Nimble9 , Can you link me to the other member who fabs the front wheel holders? I need to grab a couple to mount on my bed.

@Nimble9 Have you come up with any test products that would work with a hardtopper w/o cutting...?

Unfortunately no, as the hardtopper's typically overhang the bedside by design, which will directly interfere with anything mounted on top of the bed rail.

If the topper it's flush it is possible with no or minimal cutting.

Have you had anyone cut their topper to get them to work..?

Thanks for this, I'm assuming the design hasn't changed much (at all?) since this post from 2 years ago? I have a Cali Raised bed rack installed and had a similar question, was worried the front wheel bracket would interfere with the bed rack mounting but looking at this I believe it should fit. I have about 6" between the forward/header rail and the mounting bracket for the bed rack when the rack is as far back as it can go.

It should fit with 6" but i've been seeing weird variations on 3rd gens where the front of the bed where the bed rail top is biased towards the tailgate and can eat into that. how much wiggle room is there to play with? if need be, can the bed rack slide back another half inch or so?

The 6" of clearance is with the bed rack as far back as it can go. Based on measurements and pics I've seen here I think it'll fit so I went ahead and ordered it. I'll post an update if there are any fitment issues. I can probably modify something to make it fit if needed, I've tried a few other bed rack mounting options and didn't like them.

Painted mine the other day, got it on this morning. Just need mount bolts for the Rockymounts fork mount. Stoked to get to use it and actually have my rear bestop window on full time.
The rear tire tray however does appear to be bending my plastic bed cap slightly, not a big deal but anyone else experience this?

What if my Taco doesn’t have front bed rails? Any chance this would work for that?

Could potentially work, but then that is a lot of side pressure on that side rail only.
You should be able to just buy the front rail and put it on.

Wanted to follow up on this. Did you ever release a model that supports 1up racks? I would love to order one that supports a full bike rack.

I have a system but it’s not ready for release.

Life happens haha, but it’s getting there.

I’ll have to dig up a photo if I can find one

Wondering if anybody has confirmed a 2nd gen with the diamondback option is compatible?

(My Taco is 08 short bed)

I've been eyeing this product for awhile and just need to know it works! Thank you in advance!

I mean, there are diamondback specific ones that were made. It works on my 18' long bed with the diamondback, so I assume it should work fine for yours.

@CttAznRanger The reason I'm asking, the diamondback compatible is listed for only 2016+.

Gotcha. What I can do if you want, is to take measurements of the corner bit to see if it can fit for you if you want.
