    We used the hard nylatron bushings so we haven't seen that issue.

    Ah, I see, I thought I had seen black bushings in the picture. Do you have to maintain those any differently?

    I bet there is mud in places that Toyota thought it could not reach. :eek:
    Again, one of the best builds I have seen, well thought out.

    As for your bushings.

    That happened to me, soon after I added more teflon grease into the zerk.
    The grooves in the bushings were not deep enough or it may had been squeezed enough to not allow the excess to squeeze thru.
    I replaced them recently.
    So the next time, I will just need to pull them, clean them and relube them.
    Basically skip using the zerk fitting.

    Update on Tacoma. Everything is holding up under severe abuse except the inner fenders and radiator support. Numerous cracks have developed and we are in the process of reinforcing the entire inner fender support structure.
