Anyone have any experience with this rifle? Pondering picking one up in 6.5 with a 24” barrel. Local gun shop said they’re not available right now. Wouldn’t even be against a gently used one. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them just curious if anyone on here has had experience with one.

Looks like a CTR in a fancy stock. I have a CTR and a couple of standard T3's. All are excellent.

I got one earlier this year. First precision rifle so take the following for what it's worth.
I had the opportunity to shoot a wide variety of bolt guns from friends from a $4 Rem 700(yes seriously $4) to an AI and other custom builds. I was leaning custom but took a chance based on the overwhelming positive reviews about how solid the Tac A1 was out of the box. I was not disappointed. Super smooth action. Shockingly precise and consistent right out of the box with factory ammo and a noob behind the trigger. My sole use is static range prone/bench shooting mostly @ 500because that's max range at the range I visit most. Occasionally get to go out to longer range 500+ out to-1000+

Its a heavy rifle I wouldn't want to lug up and down a mountain chasing elk.
    Other cons
Folding stock rubs against chassis when folded ever so slightly. A piece of adhesive rubber fixed that
Lack of a 20 moa rail. I had to add one and may end up swapping that for 30 moa rail down the road
The flat top handguards. If your running a large objective lens like 56mm you'll need to watch clearance and use very tall rings. Since most of that flat top is not usable space I wish they increased clearance.

    Pros.
It looks awesome and shoots even better.
The factory trigger is adjustable and IMO a very nice trigger
The magazines are stout and insert/remove very clean
Factory muzzle break more than suitable for the job
(Tbac ultra 9 can going on it later)
For the price point you get one hell of a rifle that way out shoots its price

Anything Tikka is generally excellent. The CTR in .260 REM serves me well.

I don’t have this exact one but do have a Tikka 6.5 and it’s amazing! Great deer and elk rifle

I'm gonna need you to go ahead and move to California. Women here think a twist rate is something else entirely.

I've had a Tikka T3 lite for over 15 years I think. Chambered in .223 and it'll group very tightly every time. Got an 8 point buck with it in Ohio sometime in 2010 I think. Fantastic rifle for the price.
