Actually asking for a friend that just bought a 2022 SR5. She loves the truck as she came from a 2012.

With SR5 grille there is chrome trim around it. What is everyone doing to eliminate that?
I know she eventually wants to change out for the black sport grille. She is just worried with the tss that touching or moving it will mess the truck up. I know I know. It's an easy swap but new tech worries her. Lol

i personally like my chrome trim piece but if she doesn't like it she can swap out with an SR black piece or take hers off and plastidip it.

the tss isn't a super sensitive piece of equipment. i've taken mine off and on to work on my truck so many times i've lost track.

Haha. That's what my thought was too about the tss. As I told her, as long as it gets put back where it was she should be perfectly ok. I said even if she got the pro grille it would be fine. She has had the truck around a month. So it's all new. I love that hers has the dual temp control

same. I had a problem the very first time but since then I've had no issues. I've removed my grille like 50+ times and nowadays the grille will all off once the bolts are out

the sensor can move without getting messed up, as what happens during grille swaps.

That's exactly what I told her. I have 2017, so I didn't have to worry about that but still I would have no problem moving it to swap the grille.
