Yeah, sounds interesting.

I regret not trying Haggis when I went to Edinburg/Glasgow, Scotland back in the early 90s with my wife. I could give a better comparison and say how truly proud the Scotts are of HAGGIS.

If we have a MEET-UP, my wife will think I'm gonna meet with my g-friend, Nina...lol!!!

I received a political affiliate text on my phone with an intro, "This is Nina from..." Of course my wife saw the text (we were in my Taco and phone was in center console) as it appeared for a short period of time.

"Whos' Nina", she asked?

I'm like, "I don't know...why don't you open the text."

Since she sensed my surprise as non-guilty of misbehavior, she kept teasing me about it once I opened it and let her read it.

"See! I told you I don't know Nina."

As a joke back to her, I added a second name..."Nina-Jules". My wife's name is Julie and some of her friends call her "Jules" sometimes.

So, that's the running joke with us...we've been married over 30 years.

So, where would a MEET-UP take place? Will we eat "Scrapple" so you can see me gag? lol!!!

I prefer my scrapple thin and crispy. I do love a scrapple sandwich. My Dad eats his scrapple when syrup. My Dads family is from Delmar. I graduated from Delmar in 1991. Enlisted into the Air Force in 1992. I get back to Delaware for scrapple and visits a few times a year. I lived on the Eastern Shore when OC was fun in the summer.

Ordered my tailgate lock and it arrives today!

I bought the "C" clamp to prevent theft/removal of the tailgate from Chris/Bug Doctor. He said the clamp won't work with the tailgate lock...but I will test it out while I have the tailgate off.

Ordered the Talon cat security plate yesterday. It hasn't shipped yet...probably because I ordered on a weekend.

I'll be installing the OEM tailgate lock this morning...the c-clamp bracket for the tailgate hasn't arrived yet but I guess I won't need it with the tailgate lock system.

Having my cup-of-Joe and an apple turnover...no scrapple for me this morning...lol!

Tailgate Lock install went well...took me a lil bit but I'm no mechanic and I've never opened panels on my Taco...there's always a first time...lol!

Good morning Delawareans with Tacos! Daylight savings time again!

Did another add-on to my Sport. I went with the Talon CAT security plate. Used the Auto Hobby shop on Dover AFB for this and done in less than 30 minutes. I'm very happy with my purchase and easy install...once I corrected the spacer. lol

I also discovered a spacing issue (I resolved) that is being evaluated by Talon Garage. Other than that, Talon plate fits perfect!

**I corrected the spacer to be on the frame as opposed to under the CAT plate.** The video Eric provided was watched several times and I still forgot to place the spacer correctly. lol



Spacing issue resolved. The 1/4 inch spacer provided didn't fit flush with the cross-bar/frame. I used 3 (3/8 inch) washers to make a snug fit.



Here is the width view where you can see both areas the Spacers sit.

saw your name on your avatar/profile. I've been signing on here just about regularly...and it's been annoying my wife...lol.

She did well in advising to get a Tacoma instead of a Tundra...but now, I think she regrets advising me...lol.

Anyway, I see "alerts" on my page when I sign in...as well as get notifications via email...I wonder if they're connected in some way?

I saw the meet-up in Philly..."Philly Sandwich" that's cool...no date determined yet. Did not see the Maryland one...cool, thanks for that.

I've been trying to revive the "Delaware Tacomas" thread but participation has been low...at least replies from DE Tacoma peeps.

Thanks for the compliment on my Sport...I have enjoyed my new truck ever since May 14, 2021 when I picked her up in Easton, MD. A friend referred me to Koons plus I went to Dover Toyota and didn't feel quite comfortable there.

Your wife indeed advised well, and I support the decision! I usually sign on fairly often, but for some reason, I stop getting notifications for some threads. I also jist got a notification about a thread I haven't visited in almost 6 months. I think if you get a notification and don't immediately view the thread, it stops notifying you unless youanually navigate back to the thread.

I feel you about Delaware Tacomas; it seems you and I are the most popular and active members haha.

Keep an eye on the meet-ups and let me know if you think you'll be coming out.
