Could be. I'd have to talk with the equipment owners to find out. My employer has divers and a barge owner arriving Monday. Talk about a couple of private business that make some $$$. Might be over 100k a day to have these guys help us out.

It was leaking from the fitting coming out of the top of the tee where the copper line goes in. Got the last 3/8 splice in town. Fingers crossed this one is holding..for now. I'm no plumber that's for sure. Flying by the seat of my pants

 

That upper fitting isnt a sharkbite..right?

 

It is, they have plastic and brass I think. Bag said sharkbite anyway

 

Guess i havent seen them, i just use brass

 

Next time I'm going to just use a plumber Haha

 

It might have been a burr on the copper line that caused the seal to fail.

 

Third pig in now done love this tractor. Did 50 lb of sausage today we use a lot of brats. 1 pig split between my mom and brother in law
The other 2 in the freezer now empty pens for a while.
May have to see if I can fit another deer in here as this guy is bopping around and will try to get my son on him

 

Agree! They're handy in certain circumstances, but whenever possible, sweated copper is the way to go.

I've had tips dry out and what I ended up doing was using a tip from a different can. But never heard of charging a dead one. And I'm one to pretty much always clear the tips out when I'm finished, provide the can not empty.

I guess this one sat too long. I swapped 2 or 3 tips and no luck, even put acetone in the neck of the can twice.
