Could be. I'd have to talk with the equipment owners to find out. My employer has divers and a barge owner arriving Monday. Talk about a couple of private business that make some $$$. Might be over 100k a day to have these guys help us out.
You'd think they throw this old dog a bone once in awhile....not happening

It was leaking from the fitting coming out of the top of the tee where the copper line goes in. Got the last 3/8 splice in town. Fingers crossed this one is holding..for now. I'm no plumber that's for sure. Flying by the seat of my pants20211212_123324.jpg

It might have been a burr on the copper line that caused the seal to fail.

Agree! They're handy in certain circumstances, but whenever possible, sweated copper is the way to go.

    I was wondering...thanks:rofl:

I've had tips dry out and what I ended up doing was using a tip from a different can. But never heard of charging a dead one. And I'm one to pretty much always clear the tips out when I'm finished, provide the can not empty.

I guess this one sat too long. I swapped 2 or 3 tips and no luck, even put acetone in the neck of the can twice.

Goodmorning. I didn't have to go into work yesterday and that surprised me a little.
Have no idea what I'll do today but I do know that 3 day weekends are
