Thats why. If you werent in Tex-ass Id give you some of my stuff. I have a heat pad for the hens in the coop so they can warm their feeties in the winter and a 250W red infared bumb for the babies. This is another option so she can go under to warm up if need be..

Hello stockers. Donated blood so the afternoon off for me! Filled the gas bottle for grill, doing bacon and chicken later. Taking a break presently.

With all the goings on I didn't share. I did add a remote start to Lucille, and wool waxed her loins. She continues to demand time AND money. Nary a whimper though, so I can't complain.

I had chickens for a while, but i couldn't keep the population up what with the ravenous racoons in these parts. Turns out I wasn't keeping Chickens, I was raising free range 'coons.

They were awesome to have around. Frank would follow me everywhere. Competing with the dog for 'best friend' status.

Cool time of year in Flyover Country. One good thing about last weeks Tornado weather, got ALL the leaves off of the trees. We're supposed to get more sustained winds pushing 30 mph tonight. Current temp is 61. should be 40 tops. Crazy

Be careful with the cat. All it takes is a brief instance of natural behavior and things will not end well

Long time, no talk! How’s everyone doing? Been a tough few months for me. Even though I’m fully vaccinated, I ended up getting Covid from a student at my college. Damn near killed me. All my doctors said that had I not had the vaccine, I would not have made it.

Then today…On the way home after picking up mom at the ER (fell and gave herself a massive concussion) saw an accident ahead so I slowed down and gave it a few car lengths. Right as I stopped, I hear a half second of skids, then a huge smash and then we got whacked. My truck got tossed about 6 feet…with just enough room to spare and not hit the initial accident. Bad news is the whole bed is tweaked. Passenger side bed is bowed out. What has me concerned is the truck wanders when it drives. Trammels like crazy on uneven road. Headlights barely hit the street now. At the very least, will need the whole passenger side of the bed, tailgate, bumper and mounts/plastics, tail light. With the headlights pointing higher than before, I’m afraid the frame may be bent. I think the exhaust pipe is bent and I hear something big rattling while driving. Some electrical gremlins now and she’s down on power and I used an 1/8 of a tank to go 11 miles. I’m worried she might be totaled.

I fared a little better. Only whiplash, sprained wrist, and a fractured ankle for me. Yay!
