A while back I purchased some waterproof wire crimp connectors. The typical blue, red, yellow but the plastic is transparent and shrinks when heat is applied

This isn't the think heat shrink that you normally find. It's thick, hard plastic. Smells like candles burning when heated.

I'm asking because I want more of this heat shrink without the crimps.

Are you looking for the "hardplasticness"? Or the "waterproofness"? If the later, search for marine grade heatshrink. Or "adhesive lined".

these are color coded to help identify size.

isn't most regular heat shrink tubing also adhesive-lined like these?

    you mean these?

the example at the top of the page is a heat-seal type. it's more like heat shrink tubing for an outer covering, and then has a heat-sensitive glue inside similar to hot glue that will encapsulate the wire coming out of the crimp. properly performed, it makes for a water-tight connection that can be submerged. where the above image i posted are not water-tight without additional steps/products
