Hello, so I'm replacing my front hubs and cv's before I travel here and I didn't realize there is a seal on the back side of the knuckle where the cv goes into the knuckle/hub assembly. What seal is it? I don't have the time to get oem ones but napa has two seals listed. I posted pictures with the respective part number and pictures. Thanks a bunch in advance. Only place by me that reliably stocks parts is Napa so I'm going with them.

I think you need the “inner” seal

OK thank you so much. I'll go by and grab them tommorow then. I'm trying to get this truck wrapped up before traveling for Christmas so thanks a bunch!

OK thanks a ton for this post. So my oem seals got delayed shipping so they won't be here in time so I had to get seals from the auto parts store. I got seals for each side of the front diff made by National Seal and the two inner seals knuckle seals are made by National Seal too. I don't know the quality but I might stop by Napa today and look at there seals just to be safe and see if there's a difference in quality. I'm just worried about putting in inferior parts is all.

National is what is currently on my front right. Over 4 years on it. So far so good.
The only place that had them in stock local here was AdvancedAuto Parts.
