AZ Off-road & Eat Thread

I was taking to a buddy and we both had a similar idea.

find cool places to eat that are worth the drive off the beaten path.

places you can go after a day of hitting the trails.

I’ll go first, always wanted to try Desert Bar.

Cleator Saloon after running Turkey Creek/Bloody Basis area.

Crown King Saloon after running back way to CK.

 

i have to say The Mill, did ya know the saloon used to be at Oro Belle and they moved it where it is, i think Al Francis (Fort Misery) moved it.

pretty interesting actually, Tom Anderson owned it, but he wanted a saloon in Crown King, so he had it moved.

 

Interesting. So not the true Mill for CK huh?

 

sorry, maybe confusing the way i typed it, The Mill restaraunt in CK.

the two story crown king saloon is the building that was moved, its also supposedly the oldest brothel in AZ

Cool idea for a thread. Definitely want to check out Desert Bar.
