Is the little piece with the 90 degree bend on the end of the banjo fitting on the front wheels just to hold the banjo in place? I just got SS brake likes from Stop Tech and the new lines don’t that extra piece. Does it matter?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
What it does when the truck is being built on the line it holds the fitting in place when the banjo bolt gets run in with the air tool .

As you tighten the banjo bolt the hose fitting will start to turn as you tighten the bolt with out the little keeper just be aware of that as you tighten the bolt.

Lots of people use these lines without issue.

    Good luck
