Upon trying to just simply remove my antenna, it snapped off leaving the rest in my housing. I tried drilling & extraction process only to have the #!&@ing extraction bit tip break off in the drilled hole. Am I f'd or does anyone have a solution that does not involve the stealership?

It happens. You as well as others have found out the treaded portion is HARD.
Hard as in, hard to drill. It’s almost as hard as a drill bit. No idea why it needs to be that hard.

Don’t feel bad, others have had the same problem.
The fix is to replace the portion that holds the antenna on.
Most of them tend to corrode underneath the black trim anyways. This causes poor reception.

Sometimes people remove the antennas to go through car washes. Once done they reinstall the antenna back into a hole full of water. Over time it rusts solid.

My advice is to remove the antenna, put some antiseize on the threads and reinstall it in a dry hole before it's an issue.

OP....I know this doesn't help you
