Thanks for the information. Hopefully he'll get in contact with me and maybe we can work something out.

If @Sociopenguin still has my ECGS removal tool, and I can borrow the race driver, I could do it for you for a fee. It's a huge pain in the ass to do, and I said if I'd ever do it again I'd charge for it. If you want to do it, while I watch, I'd be more than happy to stupervise for free.99.

I'd definitely be happy to have you walk me through it if you have the tools. I've done the vast majority of my automotive fixes and maintenance in the past, but I've never had to fix anything to do with the internal drivetrain, so it kind of freaks me out. So if you would like to join me in my dread and supervise, that would be great.

You going to be in the KC Metro anytime soon before winter gets nasty?

I can be. I'll order the bushing and when it comes in, I'll let you know. We can make plans at that time if you like.

Anyone local to Ozark want this AeroSkin? Literally took it out of the box and set it on the hood. Then put right back in the box. $20 and it's yours.

Hi from Billings, MO. Wanting to use my Taco for more than just daily driving, and Glade Top seems to be the go to trail for beginners. Any other trails I should be taking a crack at? Currently running everything all stock, but looking to add skid plates and sliders soon.

    Seen these on Craigslist. https://columbiamo.craigslist.org/pts/d/marlow-toyota-tacoma-skid-plates/7396221913.html
Or if you can weld, coastal has the full set for cheap.

Also KRRP has trails for all levels and also hosts 101 Courses for those looking to build confidence. I took my bone stock TRD Sport Gen2 there and had a good time on the 101 course. Since then I've been slowly modifying.

Good looking out, thank you! I'll for sure look into the 101 course too, I was kind of hoping to find one to be honest. Thanks again!

Should be good. You can reach out to Aaron from Artemis Overland (shop in Springfield) and he will be able to give you detailed information.

I might try to go to Mark Twain this weekend. I've been itching for a ride. Mostly fire roads for me, but there is some tricky stuff my Jeep buddy does. I'd go with him, but I'm on stock tires currently. I'm in Ozark.

I second this, he's good peoples! Be watching for their Rigs And Coffee Meet Ups @ Artemis. They are always a good time.

Appreciate it guys! I have plans this weekend, but would definitely love to head out to Mark Twain sometime after the Holidays if that works for you. I unfortunately work IT in the retail world so this time of year is hell on the schedule.

Anyone local interested in this Course Motorsport phone mount (3rd Gen)? I'd rather not have to ship it. $30 with both plates and mount. I'll even help you install it.

Installed a wireless CarPlay radio, so I just use Gaia through CarPlay now.

Edit: held my iPhone 12 Pro Max just fine. Can get more pics.

Saw a nice quicksand Taco with roof rack and overland related stickers on the back window at my storage unit in Branson West yesterday. You honked and waved - are you on here?

    New tires?

    I’ve got an 05 with a 6 inch lift,
    currently with some garbage 35s.

I loved the Goodyear Dura Trax back in Colorado for their ability to drive through any depth of snow but now that I am in Lebanon Missouri I probably won’t see deep snow. Probably more like black ice.

I’ve heard that the Dura Trax do poorly on ice.

Should I go with Dura Trax again? What tires would you suggest for out here.

This truck is more commonly on the highway than in the hills.

Plaza Tire in Springfield had the best price I could find on Wildpeaks.
