are these pieces only for it you have the OEM Tonneau cover? I just sold mine and I'm not sure if I can use these pieces with the new bedrail caps that aren't cut out? I took them out when I was swapping bedrail caps

If you're feeling brave, you can cut them.

I've got a brief how-to with pics and a template you can follow here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-ugly-blue-truck.722492/#post-25970759

    Gasket part numbers:
    • 62541-04010 - OEM bed gasket (passenger side)
    • 62542-04010 - OEM bed gasket (driver side)

Just sold my Trifold cover and helped the guy install on his car...I kept the gasket pieces but had to remove them when I put the new bedrail caps on (the ones without the cuts)...I'm getting a diamondback this weekend..My question is are these 2 parts only for the OEM cover or they come with the trucks and should be used regardless ?

They only come with the OEM tonneau rails and cover. Trucks without the tonneau kit don't have those notches and can't receive the gaskets.

I made the notches myself to cram the gaskets in there and fill the gap between the bedsides and bed front rail.

Thanks brother. So if I’m understanding. You still kept the gaskets and just finessed them in there after some modification? Legit I’m gonna try and do the same

I did the same. You'll have to use a dremel or something similar to notch the new bedrails. Also I used a bunch of RTV to really seal up the plugs as that section still leaks even with the plugs.

Thanks guys I’m going to do that. Any pics of the notch area would help (if you have any) already ordered the silicone.

Cant remember exactly but think it has to do with which headunit you have. V1 is for 2020+ models. I ordered mine based on the info on the AJT site.
Visually V1 and V2 are the same but it does matter which one you get depending on your model year.

Sitting at the dealer while they check torque on the lift and such after over 500 miles and they are swapping over stock tpms to the new set of rims and tires due to discounts set not working.

Reading back on this thread and saw this post. Really contemplating a rear seat removal and these boxes. I'm pretty simple and don't have much tools or much going on, but I NEVER use the backseat for a seat. I don't like people enough to let them ride in my truck and I'm single ;) I do have the swing boxes for the bed on the way but I don't want all my other tools back there and currently the sockets and normal tool box is just sitting on the back seat. So thanks for inspiring me.

I'm having a good time "Personalizing" my ride. I got a lot more I want to do. The latest. Back six months ago, I purchased a Remote Start from N2 Designs. Not only a very easy install...all plug & play but because of my error, I had to call...Fantastic Customer Service. A couple days ago I bought the N2 Smart Phone Module. I installed that & it works fantastic. So much more to go. Happy New year to you all!!!

Seems to be some questions/concerns out there regarding the AJT radio knobs and which ones to get.
If your existing knobs look like this, get V1
