CBI recently has had very mixed reviews. You can see in google that its either a 4/5 star positive review or a 1 star about missing parts, wrong items or them also trying to charge for shipping to correct their alleged mistake. I cannot vouch for any review other than mine.

    I ordered:

On 11/14/2021 with an 8 week lead time……. Time went on, around 12/20,2021 I checked their lead times and saw that it went down to 6 weeks for bed racks. So I emailed cbi and asked if mine would be part of the 6 weeks, or still take 8 weeks.

Well, their customer service got back to me on 12/21/2021 and said it will ship out on 1/12/2021.

…Okay thats fine not a big deal.

I received an email the next day on 12/22/2021 that it shipped. No idea who at cbi said 1/12/2021 cause that was incorrect info……

I got the invoice that said the tracking number.

Freight shipping was $283 to socal from them. With the holidays, it arrived to my door on 1/4/2022. Can’t blame cbi for a 2 week shipping time and its freight which naturally takes longer and during the holidays.

their shipping company has a 1 star review woth many issues alleged on google reviews. Again, I cannot vouch for any review other than mine. Mine went well they called saying when they would arrive the day before and then on 1/4/2022 they were right on time.

it was packed very well for freight i guess…. No damages to box or product.

I am very happy with it. It came with everything. I only wish that there were actual instructions. Im not an idiot and can figure it out which I did, but there is hardware included such as locking washers that made no sense where to go. I called cbi and they didn't really help all to well.

overall a couple very minor powdercoat blemishes….. I will just rust cover it.
I also emailed cbi and they got back to me in the static and dynamic load rating.

    static: 600
    Dynamic: 300

but they said they did some “field tests” and it should be good for
    Static: 800
    Dynamic: 400

still lighter is better and safer.

Bolts straight to the bed and can show images if someone asks cause their online images dont show it . Also has some holes at the bottom I think for the intended use of a bungee net over a load in your bed since you loose the ability to slide the rail cleats on your tacoma.

overall its a great sturdy product that I am very happy with. The price is high but I got it for 10% off with their black Friday sale. It does sit above the top of the cab by about an inch or two. If someone asks, i can get measurements for em.
