I know haha but it's perfect timing as I'm building a house as well so I didn't see much wheeling getting done this year anyways

Those SS3 Pro fog lights are a lot brighter than I expected. Now I see why they say street legal "when properly aimed".

 

Ive been running them in the runner for like a year and a half and moved them over to the taco now. I absolutely love them.

 

He'll learn. It's for life.

Pretty soon he will be buying a red grandpa spec 2nd gen, asking what brand nerf bars are the best, and never wanting to take it near dirt.

You ever seen the sport or max version in person for comparison?

 

No. I almost bought a set of Max’s. Have you seen the SAE thread where he does the comparison of them? Max’s are twice the strength of pros.

 

Yeah. Saw the thread but reading numbers is different than seeing product in person. Guess I could skim through for some real world photos. Not that I plan to fork out $500 on led pods though. I'd guess that pro or maybe sport with a combo lens would be fine for my purposes of wanting just a little extra light on the back roads.

I like that pods are less real estate than bars and the ss3 might be as good or better output as the cheap Chinese 20" bar that's been sitting in my garage a few years now.

 

There’s ss5’s now that would be nuts. Ss3 pro’s in driving beam are like high beams or brighter from what I understand.
I have a 18” bar and a set of ssc2 pro’s on the way from them.

 

i have the ss3 pro fogs and they’re bright af lol I get flashed here and there

I like them a lot but I want to switch from the white to yellow

 

Mine are yellow. It’s the better color
