    Haha I was in a similar spot once where the water was coming in under the doors. Mitch pulled me out backwards.
    My weathertech mats were floating.

    It's true, I definitely didn't expect that. Which what get me into the mess I have now. The starter is working "better", but I'm quite nervous about the -10° days

    Long shot here but I have a 6 months old tonneau cover 6 foot for a third Gen Tacoma. Used it for 6 months and then got a Tri fold hardcover. This is the roll up kind but in excellent condition. Only thing is I needed to use the rails from it in order to fit my tri fold hard cover off a 2nd Gen Tacoma. Do not want much money for it.

    Starters aren’t really all that complex. If it keeps acting up just take it out and clean all the contacts and make sure there isn’t any muddy water remaining.

    Just disconnect the battery before you start taking the starter out

    Which is what I'm thinking is the issue. It's only on cold days it won't start/requires tapping on it with a long wrench to get it moving. It's quite accessible, I just dont have a lot of time to frig with it right now. There's been days where I was sure I'd be stranded and it takes right off, other days which are mild and it feels like I use Fisher Price tools to tap on it to make it go. Regardless, I may very well try taking it out and checking the contacts, maybe put some of that dielectric grease to it.
    On a side note, my Mrs. and I were discussing things, I 'may' sell or part out my truck next year, I kinda have my eye on something that I'd like to tackle for a project.

    I haven't put many miles on them so far, but the few times I did use them they were awesome. Maybe even better than my Coopers!

    I've just been heads down at work, getting stuff done... not much garage time lately ( been in a bit of a funk lately )
    but I hope to change that soon and get my front skid done.

    @Tertius420
    how you finding those Falkin Wildpeak A/T3W's in the snow?

    In super slush, I was a bit disappointed in mine, but on ice, and snow I was not quite impressed, but not disappointed either....

    I'm having a hard time remembering my KO2's when they were new ( new KO2's I found suprisingly good in the snow, but after 2 years I was less impressed. Almost like the rubber became harder.. )

    anyhow
    what's everyone running for winters this year?
    Me? its the A/T3W's

    I've been Gislaved Nordfrost 200 for winters the past 2 years. I am very happy with them. I was ripping around in that 40cm dumping we had a few weeks back without much issue, and they actually handle ice and the slick stuff much better than any AT tire I have had. I do have a set of AT tires for the summer though.
