"PrinSu Top Rack - Toyota Tacoma (2005-2021) - Truck Brigade" https://truckbrigade.com/products/prinsu-design-studio-toprack-roof-rack-toyota-tacoma-2005

Yes should mount easily to a flat surface and yes they come in 5 and 6 foot options.
    Hope that helps

They did, but they still have the dedicated Prinsu website also.

Here is another option I use but this requires buying a 1/4-20 - 1/2" carriage bolt and an oversize washer so cost may be more expensive than what @smuggiesrider is using. I had a few carriage bolts left over from a different mount setup so this worked best for me.

Installed the prinsu on the truck today but 3 10mm bolts don’t thread all the way in, anybody have suggestions of what to do, maybe just buy some shorter bolts? Where can I get some?

It has been a while since I installed mine. Are the 10mm bolts the ones that thread into the top of the truck? Are are those the ones that hold the rails onto the sides?

If the ones that secure Prinsu to top of truck, I would mess with those. They should thread in all the way.

Yes they’re the ones that thread into the truck, seems like the pre drilled holes from the factory weren’t properly done, well at least three of em hence, the bolts not going all the way in and I don’t want to force it in. Just wondering if anybody has ever had this issue before and what was the solution.

The holes go all the way thru to the interior lining from what I understand. I recall a few of mine hit a "spot" where it felt like there was resistance. I assumed it was some paint overspray or similar. I backed those out and then rethreaded them to make sure I wasn't cross threading and then kept going. Hopefully I didn't screw up!!!! Going on 7 months and no leaks and still sturdy.

Make sure you are doing a sealant of waterproof silicone in and around the hole. I am positive I overdid mine but on what I paid for this truck I didn't want it leaking water.

Wind deflector light cut out dimensions anyone?

I don't have a Tacoma, but the boards I frequent with my truck rarely run Prinsu racks.

I have a cab and topper rack with the standard wind deflector. I just ordered a light bar and, trying to save a buck, want to have a buddy's shop make the cut out for me. I know the length is right at 43" (for the 40" light bar version)....just curious about the dimension in the pic below. I called Prinsu and was kindly told to order a precut fairing or pound sand.... I get it....but if I can save a few bucks for other junk....well....

Someone asked for this back in December 2018. I knew I still had the photo/measurements.

Does anyone have any ideas on a "Bracket" I can mount to the prinsu to carry a roofing ladder? I need to throw one up there occasionally and dont want it to jack up my rack, and if it lifts the ladder it will also clear my light bar.

    Thanks!!

How high off the rack do you need it to be to clear the light bar?
