There was a build either on here or maybe it was the Tundra forum, but a guy had custom-fabbed some brackets to bolt a prinsu cap rack to the HD bars. Wish I’d saved a pic of it. I love ARE’s HD concept but for my use, the bars are too far apart and aren’t adjustable.

if you don’t mind me asking, what options did you go with and what was the cost? curious if the pricing held in these post-pandemic insane inflation times

    Hello all!

I just ordered a CX HD for my 2022 Tacoma short bed. Can anyone tell me the distance from the bottom of the bed to the top of the glass opening? I’m trying to get this truck set up while I wait for the topper.

Yeah. The lowest point. Trying to see how much room I’ll have with the decked box and cargo glide.

I'm not near it currently, but the frame bracing sits lower slightly than the window hinge. Think it's close to 30". I'll try to get it this evening.

Looks like 33" to the hinge and 33.25ish to the cap frame bar.

So the inside support goes threw the shell, making the top support bars none adjustable?

Could someone do me a favour and measure the distance between the top of the canopy on the fiber glass to the top of the cross bars? I want to mount my RTT on it and still be able to fit in the garage. Thx

    Hi All,
Has anybody made use of the slots in the frame with T bolts? I was wondering if anyone had a size for the bolts. I can measure and guesstimate, but sometimes it's just easier to ask. I'm looking at storage ideas on the the frame.
    Thanks,
    Sean
