    Appreciate the info. I've sprayed 3 coats of self-etching primer and will be spraying 3 coats of Rustoleum undercoating in those areas. The sliders themselves get truck bed coating. Surely that must be sufficient? Even if it isn't cream of the crop.

    Pardon my dust, but I just wanted to share an idea I came up with while installing these. The install video did not suggest to re-use our frame covers, and I didn't like the idea of the box section wide open after install. I was able to slot where the nut plate handle protrudes and was able to re-use the covers! With a little bit of motivation, I was able get it fastened back down into its factory hole.

    P.s. - Yes, I made sure thoroughly clean where the sliders actually mounted up, don not worry.
