And wrapping handles is relatively straightforward and inexpensive. You can do it yourself as well. Just pick up a bit of vinyl and watch some YT vids. Take your time and it'll be fine. You'll learn a new skill as well

Won’t have the grill swapped til March? But will put up a pic. Expecting a set of OEM SR tails from eBay any day. Most of the chrome except headlights will be gone. Plasti dipped the wheel hubs but left the chrome emblem for detail. The most egregious thing was those chrome mirrors.

 

Hello, I recently bought a 21 limited and want to remove some of the chrome. The problem I've come across is color matching the parts I want, specifically the mirror caps. My truck is midnight black but I only see attitude black. They seem to be the same color code from toyota but people say there not quite the same shade. Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

If they are the same color code then there is no difference. Body shops use the code to match the paint so if the color is different at all, it would have a different code.

 

I'd say it has less chrome/metallic trim but not no chrome.

 

Here's my parts list (I had already changed my vent rings, knob accents, etc with meso stuff so I only needed trim pieces):

55474-04020-C1 (left side trim for cluster surround)

83852-04J90 (cluster lens, description says with chrome bezel but the interior portions are indeed black)

The only thing I haven't found is black trim for the HVAC control panel.

 

So it would be safe to assume that attitude black and midnight black are the same color?
