My 4x4 is engaging but my light just blinks on my dash which is weird bc the truck is in 4x4 but the light is just blinking on my dash and it won’t turn solid and to get my truck back into 2 wheel drive I have to turn it off and back on. Any ideas what it could be.

I remember a similar issue came up in TW in the past. No one yet to come up with an answer with this issue. Check the connectors to ensure they are properly engaged and that there are no broken wires. Have you used the 4L/ diff lock recently?
I suggest you take it to the dealer, and tell us what they say.

You recently replace the trim ring with MESO/AJT?

The last time I put my truck in 4 low was back in July and I will check the connections when I get off of work

If it’s blinking it usually means it hasn’t shifted to 4hi yet (or back). Are you sure it’s in 4hi? It can be a bit finicky and works best when moving in a straight line with minimal stress on the drivetrain. When it shifts you will hear a click and the 4wd light will go solid (or off).

I used mine today because we had a small snowstorm and I felt like screwing around in a unplowed parking lot. The combination of 4lo, ATRAC, and the rear locker could not defeat the most meager snow drift. I wish I was in the desert rock crawling.

If you want remote assistance, need to be super careful to describe symptoms and what you have tried (and observed).

IF you are sure it is fully in 4hi, there is a 99% chance there is a defect in front diff ADD actuator.

Can tell you how to test with ohmmeter or techstream.

But first I recommend you be positive its in 4hi. (Typically best to jack up to see if transfer case is engaged. And verify if front diff is engaged).

Let us know what you have tried, what symptoms you have and how to get them to go away

Looking at the feedback table, I would put money on the pin3 (to pin4) feedback being open all the time, and not closing even though the truck is in 4hi.

To test (with ohmmeter), I would test feedback resistance measurements in 2hi after resetting everything. (Bet all matches table). Then ignition on and put truck in 4hi and shut off truck. Check resistance again. I bet pin 3 (ADD feedback is still open, infinite resistance)
