Just in case anyone is interested, I made this setup. Links to items below, many of them can be picked up at local hardware stores as well.

Works great for quickly deflating all tires to same pressure at same time and inflating same way. I think when I built it was at about $135 all in.

Ignore the pressure switch, I wired that to keep pump from over pressurizing the lines, but it would trip the compressor from the air pulses alone. First time I used it I had to leave exhaust valve on the manifold block halfway open to alleviate the pulse pressure. Meant I was venting about half my comps output instead of it going into tires. Was still done inflating at same time as the 3 guys moving from tire to tire.

To put that into a little perspective, I was filling 315/75-16's ... they all were filling OEM 265/70-16's.

    Update:

Airup last Saturday from 15psi to 42psi on the 315/75-16's, 5.5 minutes(not including setup time) with same compressor after the pressure switch was deleted back out of the system. VERY happy with it!

That napa pump is impressive isn't it? Nice setup! I was thinking of adding a quick connect for the front tires so everything coils easier.

Interesting but the part that deters me from building a system like this is the hose clamps. At some point those clamp ends will get turned up and eventually cut my hand or at least that is how I see it. I wonder how much it would cost to have hose ends crimped on instead. Probably cost prohibitive or just over all easier to by the moreflate system or something like that. Nice write up though. Thanks for sharing.

I've considered crimps too, just used the clamps I had on hand at the time I threw it together. I didn't want to invest in a crimping tool and crimps until I'd decided I liked it enough to continue. Can always tape the clamps after so the ends aren't exposed.

I'm actually going to redo at some point to an onboard air system with quick connects at each wheel well. That way I don't have to uncoil/coil the hose setup each time and have a tank to provide initial volume. Already have all the parts except the tank. I've been doing air bagged lowriders since the 90's, not much difference in the systems other than protecting from sticks and rocks.

You can use the clamps @tonered recommended in my thread. There’s also flexzilla pro connectors that just screw onto the hose

    lots of info over here

I always forget about those clamps, they work well and are cleaner for sure. Picking up a set this afternoon!

I keep wanting to get an Oetiker clamp tool, but I oddly enjoy making the wire clamps with the ClampTite tool. It is a lot slower though and takes a few practice tries to figure it out.

Regardless, the inflator / deflator is a great off road kit to have.
