ISO a folding tonneau for my
    2022 Tacoma short bed.
Do any brands use the Toyota rail system w/o having to add their rail?
Can I continue to use the Toyota tie downs?
    Self install preferred.
    Recommendations please.
    Thank you.

Im going with the Trifecta 2.0. Does the job and its easy installation and removal and yes you can use the track system.

The LoMax is the way to go. Luke at www.TruckAlterations.com hooked me up with a great price. It uses the bed rail system to attach, is super low profile and works beautifully. It’s 100% the way to go.

I installed my Lomax today. No alterations to your truck, and it installs in under an hour easily. Also there is no need to drill additional drain holes. The rails and rail tie downs can stay on the truck. It can be removed in less than a minute.
I did a lot of research, and decided this was the right one. It meets all my expectations so far. The only thing I can't talk about is longevity yet.

Finally installed a LEER HF650M Hard Quad Folding Truck Bed Cover on my 2022 Taco.
The instructions provided by Leer are beyond useless perhaps to encourage having it done at a dealer.
Leer does not mention what to do with foam. Photos of how to attach brackets are vague.
Used this YouTube video that made it easy. Took 2 hours on a cold 30-degree day.
