Based off ripcord design, I have a wedge camper for sale that is 95% complete. What's lacking is the tent portion. Already marked and cut out, along with keder installed. Sleeping platform is all 6mm along with outside panel's besides roof. Roof is reinforced with 1.5 extrusion braces. Have a ton of extra 6mm paneling along with extrusion etc. Asking $4k. Only reason I am selling is I cannot find anyone to sew the material. My loss your gain if you have the patience or someone that can sew. You can either have the removable platforms or add hinges and a swing platform for the bed area.

Located in El segundo, CA right by LAX. Can meet within reasonable distance if need be.

pick up a sewing machine and have at it! bummer but understandable. I have too many projects to get to right now. GLWS.

I think overlandunderbudget has been using tarps for a stop gap. Could be an option if you want to give it a go.

I have the sewing machine and took a stab at it. Also thinking of just doing the vinyl cement if need be.

Yes I actually have tried several in the west LA and long Beach area with no luck. It's like nobody wants business right now, at least on a small scale. Event went to several sewing shops and asked if they had references, and most say people just aren't doing things these days.

Dude have you tried contacting anyone at a local 44 shop in the film industry, I can connect you with some union seamstresses that do all the vinyl covers for wipe out, cannonball, fear factor, etc obstacles that are padded are usually covered in vinyl. Food for thought

I have no dog in this fight but if you don't need the money I'd say finish it. At this point either learn to sew or just put the job out there on them internets (taskrabbit, craigslist, etc).

Any marine canvas or awning shop can sew up what you want. I'd check architectural canvas before marine canvas shops because anything involving boats doubles the price. This should be a easy job for anyone with a commercial sewing machine that can punch through several layers of canvas.

Also, if you use Sunbrella canvas, it comes in dozens of different colors. Last time I checked Sunbrella was around $20/yard. YOur canvas for that tent shouldn't use much more than 5-6 yards.

Try evenkeelcanvas.com in El Segundo. This project is much easier than sewing a dodger or bimini on a boat.

    Update,

Canvas keder sewn and fitted. All that's left is the windows. Will throw in everything left over including the sewing machine.

I'm surprised, especially with the wait times for some of the truck camper manufacturers. If you weren't a couple thousand miles away I'd come get it.
