It looks like Kirkwood is going to have a fine week ahead. 1' to 2' every day these coming days! Wish I were there!

A muffin fan, a 2 1/2 foot length of 4 inch PVC, four 1 foot lengths of 1 1/2 inch PVC and four 90 degree elbows. A couple of wooded feet and a length of zip cord makes a fine dryer. Drill the holes with a hole saw. Glue it together with hot glue. My eldest son made it when he was 12 or 13 years old. . It's out in the loft now. (I pull my liners every night)

Heavenly was fun the last few days!

Met some friends of my wife from Ohio and couldn’t have had better conditions. I don’t know Heavenly at all but we found some fresh turns almost every run. I can only imagine being a local…

Gah...jelly. Headed out with family tomorrow so it'll be groomers for the day. Hoping to sneak out mid week after the refresh.

I'll be around tomorrow, most of the day in the office but I hope to get out for a few runs. Mid week next week should be good!

Most of the traffic should be heading west today. Roads are mostly clear.

Anyone looking to make a back country setup? I've got some 2011 Marker Duke 16's that I just harvested. They're banged up because I suck at skiing, but they are solid and totally functional. These ski just like an alpine binding and are super burly for down hilling, and with the flip of the lever convert into hike mode. Not light, but a great option for those who don't want to convert to a tech setup.

I believe these have the 130mm brake on them. They also have an extended riser for climb mode. $100? Make me an offer if you're interested. Located in San Rafael.

Heavenly today wasn’t awful. Icey here and there in the trees, runs were fine though. Felt empty. Parking lot was almost full. Northstar Friday on my way back to reno from eastern sac area

Wrapped up the boot dryer for 4 pairs of boots and 4 pairs of gloves. It has a mechanical timer and will run up to 12 hours. I might have to go with a 100 watt bulb for a bit more heat since it's in a cold basement but this pair of $3 open box fans from Amazon move enough air.

    1FE1D889-DCE4-49AE-AF8F-70C61B464BCE.jpg

Used 1-1/2" pipe for the boots and 1/2" for the gloves.

Heading to Heavenly thurs-sat. Looks like warmer temps in the day and below freezing at night all week, so I imagine it’ll be a little icy in the mornings and softening up around noon. I moved out here last year from the northeast so this will be my first time snowboarding Tahoe, can’t wait!
