You are probably right. It's just hard to root for a team that can never win when it matters

No kidding. Dave gave away his tickets for tonights game, and offered me a ticket for next week, to be honest, I'm glad they lost tonight because I'd rather not drive all the way up there to watch them lose. They way the have played all season was mostly "just good enough". That isn't good enough.

I'm feeling it today, sore AF from leaning over the fenders all day.

Actually on the test drive it was fairly quiet. Only makes that sweet supercharger music under boost in the higher rpms, and even at that it wasn't that loud.

Tuning.. When I was younger I had a 55 half ton Chev that I spent countless hours trying to get it to run "right" (at what I thought its potential was.) Instead of dropping in a small block I insisted on running a straight six with all the fix'ins: headers, intake with Holley 390 four-barrel, cam etc, etc. I was neurotic about it, and since; like the last 40 years, I have just let things be and bought vehicles that I was okay with. My Taco is okay (kinda like the description of the Packer's above), and I wouldn't mind some "more"; however, I don't want to go chasing down that rabbit hole again. Clearly I am missing a whole segment of money consumption here, so talk to me about the tune. Can I get gains that are reliable (like the truck) and don't require constant fussing? What would that look like? Do you guys have the ability to help make those transitions happen if I took a road trip south? Do tell...

From just the limited experience so far it felt good. It's not like putting a supercharger on a v8 It's more subtle. 1st gear is real quick, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pull harder then stock for sure. At 70 in 6th I could go up a hill and actually maintain speed or actually accelerate. Which was a problem after putting on the heavy ass 33s. Is it worth the price of admission? That is too soon to tell, sine the tune will need a little time to settle in.

Sounds like it's worth it if the truck is pulling like you say lol

    Sorry to hear that! :)

It's just funny that we keep getting to the playoffs and just shitting the bed. I'm used to it, but it's annoying. I stopped really caring a few years ago, though.

Yeah, I would have been more surprised to see them win last night, even though they were favored.

Exactly! It's just weird to have 0 confidence in their ability to win games they should win. I missed most of the game, but it sounds like it was the usual

It was. 5 minutes before it was over, Dave predicted what was going to happen, in great detail, playa by play, and it went down exactly as he predicted. That’s bad football.
