Been awhile since I've done SL ribs. Now they're in the oven with some grape juice.

I need to scrape down the inside of my lid so stuff stops dropping in the meat.

Thoughts/suggestions for BGE accessories or gifts? BIL has a birthday coming up and I have no experience with it. He’s not a hardcore smoker, but does put in the time/work to get decent bbq. All opinions welcome

First pit and first time welding — only a few cosmetic things left like therm port holes and such. :dancingbacon:

Had a rare snow storm Friday night, twice in a week actually. 21F outside and a football game to watch on TV at Lambeau Field so brats seemed like appropriate food.

Fired up the kettle, put the bratwurst in a beer bath of local Pilsner from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery along with some yellow onion. Threw some applewood in the charcoal, let them boil for a bit then straight onto the grill over the embers turning frequently. Saw a tip on line to brush them with olive oil while they’re grilling for a crispier skin, worked great.

Nothing fancy, just good football food on a cold night.

That's looking great! Are you going to paint it a fancy color?

I feel like I've seen that shop on here before Haha!

Thanks, I’m going for rat rod and leaving as is. A little sanding and some boiled linseed oil to finish it off.

I think I posted one when it got to a point I could cook on it, pardon my excitement

Some awesome looking food in here. I'll ad a small contribution. It was -25 over night, but I still wanted pulled pork for lunch today. 15 hours in the adult easy bake oven and it tuned out great.
