Good to know. I wonder where the 17" steels were coming from then?

Looking thru that thread, looks like the best and about only option for 17" steelies will be the FJ Cruiser then. Can always run spacers if they need spaced out further.

    Aluminum, interesting.

I'll have to compare the backspacing with that of the 80 just to see the difference.

Yeah only real difference between his design and my design is I didn't believe his center plate design was strone enough so I resigned that and tied into the frame rail

Yeah I was going to say, unless a square tube was hidden and going into the frame/bumper end (think the 100 series has a hole on each end?) then yeah. I wouldn't trust just that square plate to hold up all that weight.

It'd come down to the bolts holding that plate/assembly :fingerscrossed:

After much deliberation, I've decided I'm going stock height for my coils.

More digging has allowed me to figure that I'm already running OME coils and KYB shocks.

The coils are at the end of their life as the rear retains about an inch or more over stock height. The fronts gave up though.

    20220121_131911.jpg

So looking to go with Dobinson's stock height offering and sell off the complete Eibach kit I have. Don't want to go through the hassle of 3" over stock height; it'll make 33's look tiny.

    Stuff. Also things.
I think it looks awesome as it sits right now. Even better if the new fronts level it out. I like a little rake for a pickup, but not so much for an SUV.

It'll have a little rake still, just not as much as it does now.

I just don't want to go 35's again as I'm being realistic with how often It'll get wheeled.

Can't wait to post about the other goodies I ordered though :angrygirl:

My wife getting another vehicle at the end of the year would allow me to down the LC for awhile as we'll have an extra vehicle.

I plan to use that time to dedicate to the interior; I want to pull up the carpet and work on sound deadening all around.

Give me a good chance to pull all the plastic panels and replace what needs to go, and work on some of the wiring hidden in there.

What's funny is, I just did an inventory of the entire lift kit I received with the Land Cruiser.

I'm all about small lifts as I had 2" on both the 4Runner and Tacoma, but being solid axle I think it'll be capable enough to not need a lift.

Took pics of my Eibach kit and Delta VS and Slee parts and will be posting them for sale.

Dobinsons seems to be the ticket for a stock height ride. Just going to do a little looking around to see what shocks I should go with.

    Nice little surprise today!

My wife got me these without telling me; they go perfect with my hat (and shirts someone made me) :anonymous:

Funny, I have that same thing on my wishlist to put on after I get my rear bumper.

These are going on in just a bit!

They compliment the driver's hat pretty well. Thank you again @Wulf just need to get another cause it's so worn

    20220124_190443.jpg

When do you get your rear bumper?

I know I wrote off any aesthetic changes to the LC but Coastal Offroad's "center bumper" option caught my attention...

Not sure. Billy's supposed to let me know when it goes to paint, so I can schedule a day off to drive down for the install.

Nelson's going to be on 35s and tons before the year's out. Mark my words!
