If you’re thinking of going to Big Sur, 1 is closed at Rio Road in Carmel. And south of the Bixby Bridge. Wildfire.

Have you tried looking for a Leer dealer? Or maybe one of the RV sites?

The thing that sucks is the dealer versions are so friggin expensive. Some of the RV places have substitutes that work too. Much cheaper.

i just like them because i can zip tie stuff to them. i have a shovel and an ax that i put on them and it keeps the items to the sides of the bed.

Way better than the cheesy clamps what came with my Snug Top. Lots of other versions on Amazon but did not see any that fits the T Slot like these do.

Oh. Are you familiar with Uni-Strut? They make spring loaded captive nuts for those. I can't recall the correct size but those work too.

This month I have been comparing and shopping for gears and lockers. Here are my options:

    1. Recycler In Rancho Cordova have a complete rear axle with harness and switch for $1,200 with a gear ratio of 4:10

2.) Stellar Built quoted $2200 for an Eaton E Locker installed. $5,200 for elocker and regrading to 4:88 front and rear.

3.) two other gear shop in The Sacramento area roughly $2,100 to 2,500 for an elocker install.

4.) Valley Differentials in Stockton quoted me $450 for installation if I buy my own elocker. $2,300 to re gear front and rear to 4:88 and would not charge extra to install the locker.

I’m leaning towards Valley in Stockton.

Gearinstalls is on a break for the entire 2022 so he is out of the question for now.

Your thoughts and insights are appreciated.

Get fully assembled diffs from ECGS and swap them in yourself. Then send your cores back

Also, don't most turd gens do 5.29s?

Yeah, East Coast Gear Supply is the way to go. They back their diffs with a 5 year warranty. No one else in the industry is even close. And they stand behind it without question.

The SnugTop doesn't come with the same clamps I believe. Are yours through the shell or around it? Mine go through the top.

$4,400 ECGS. Not including shipping from me to them. I’m not
Mechanically inclined, so I’d have to shell out $$ for someone to remove and reinstall my front and rear diffs. I think I’ll have to stay local for this upgrade. Thanks all for the info.

They'll send you prepaid return shipping labels.
If you've got some space or a garage, host a mod day - I'm sure people will come lend a hand.
